Mr. Kittiphong Limsuwannarot, Chief Executive Officer of BBGI Public Company Limited, as the private sector representative of Thailand, together with representatives from the National Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Office (STI) traveled to participate in the Global Forum on Technology 2024 (GFTech) organized by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France, along with participants from various countries.

In addition, he had the honor of speaking on the topic "Sustainable Production; bioeconomy and beyond," which discussed the opportunities, readiness, and ecosystem for developing the synthetic biology industry in Thailand. This was considered a global platform that facilitated cooperation with international business partners for participating companies, creating opportunities to drive the value of Thailand's synthetic biology industry through innovation, and gaining more recognition internationally.

For this event, academics and experts had been gathered from various institutions around the world to participate in discussions and exchanges on topics that were currently of interest globally, both in science and technology. Additionally, there were opportunities opened up for external individuals interested in joining the event online, increasing the potential for driving collaboration in synthetic biology at a global level.
